” theres no sun when it rains ” ?

thats a strange statement since, even when its overcast, wet or raining – the sun can still reach the skin, i got sunburned badly when in barcelona, the weather was grey and overcast.. no sun, i thought i was safe…but

Vitamin D2 is a synthetic form and is much easier to overdose on. Vitamin D3 is what you want to consume. Generally, 4,000 – 5,000 iu per day. Some people might be fine with 2,000 iu per day and others maybe closer to 10,000 iu per day. Something else to follow, use sun screen as a last resort and only one with BOTH UVA and UVB blockage. The best thing is to get out of the sun once you’ve had enough. The second best thing is to cover up with clothing.

    And I’m quoting doctors!

Hypernl and everyone else, I was advised to take 5,000 iu of vitamin d3 per day by my doctor. I don’t think 1000 iu or even 2000 iu will have enough effect to notice a difference and thats what the cancer industry and the flouride industry (hint, hint) amoung others would want you to think!

Where can i buy in toronto ?

  6. bog0hitman47 Says:

you can’t overdose it when you’re taking it naturally from the sun (or maybe even the vit D skin cream he’s advertising); when ingesting it as pills, of course you can overdose !

  7. BigFishingShop Says:

Vit D3 is CHOLECALCIFEROL, the main ingedient in rat poison, overdoses have cause many products pulled from shelves, mainly from pet foods, it’s exactly the same and yes, you absolutely can OD, shouldn’t take D3 at all, its poison, no kidding, watch several more vids from people not trying tto sell you something.

You are absolutely correct! I live in Sweden where we have summer for about 3 months. And during this short summer we have far too little sunshine which produces Vitamin D in our bodys. I started with 2000 IU and after 2 weeks I raised the dose to 4000 IU. I have had enormous problems with back pain and colds before, but all this is gone now. The Vitamin D3 is almost like a “miracle drug”, it regulates over 2000 cells in our body and prevents cancer etc. It’s very hard to overdose Vitamin D3.

Actually scientist and doctors now say you can safely take 4000-5000 IU’s of vitamin a day, and still be safe. 1000 IU’s is not going to give you any health benefits. I take 4000′s IUs a day and it has helped with my muscle aches, pains, energy level and insomnia. You can’t overdose on vitamin D3

  10. Hypernl Says:

The amount of Vitamin D in supplements vary greatly. You can also take too much of it with can be poisonous. 1000 IU (25 mcg) per day is generally considered to be safe. Don’t take more than 2000 IU (50 mcg) per day unless advised by your doctor.
