I don’t want to be crude but am having a little cramping in my lower tummy, like a period. I’m in my late 50′s female. Also having some bright red blood but not in the stool, on the paper. I’ve been using a fiber laxative for several years, also have mucus sometimes clear, sometimes thicker so its a cream color in my stool, some mucus by its self. After reading a lot of the questions and answers I will start drinking more liquids and getting more fiber. I’m thinking about using a cleanse and flush product. I only have one partner my husband. I can’t think of any other information that may help except I do not have any family history of any colon problems.

If the blood is just a little on the paper when you wipe, it sounds like you’ve just torn yourself a bit down there. It might not even be the anal sex, a hard poo can do that. Anal can’t cause anything like IBS as far as I know. It might upset things a bit down there, but not that much.
