I’ve heard that colon hydrotherapy is a far more safe, comfortable, and convenient way to prepare for a colonoscopy – and equally effective if not more. So why do doctors still insist on having patients do it the hard way, with fasting, awful drinks and harsh laxatives?
I had to drink this horrible mixture the night before my colonoscopy.
During my colonoscopy preparation, I did the fasting and took the laxatives no problem, but drinking that 2 gallon mixture was horrible. How does all that liquid that you drink end up coming out through your colon and not just making you urinate, like when you drink a regular glass of water???
What medicine will i be given for preparation of a colonoscopy?
