live in a remote area.. diagnosed with celiac’s without much information from primary physician. Now have a vitamin d and b12 deficiency.
I just found out that I have Celiac Disease…and my traditional breakfast of toast or cereal is out the door…. thought that smoothies may be the way to go. I want to find something that I can add to these that will pack a punch nutritionally. Any suggestions?
If you have Celiac Disease, you must pay attention to your nutrition beyond adopting a gluten-free diet. Getting adequate Vitamin D and magnesium is critical.
I’ve been having consistent low vit. D for about five years now, very low, and it hasn’t seemed to change no matter what I do. Sunlight, hours of it, calcium, supplements… Is there any other illness or disease that can cause this to happen?
